WE were out for a couple of weeks, so now we try to make up for lost time. For our e-book feature, we choose the Artemis Fowl Series by Irish author, Eoin Colfer. The fantasy series offers an alternative to the highly popular worlds of Hogwarts and The Shire, or the heroic juvenile characters, Harry Potter and Frodo. This time, the Irish author skillfully created a more contemporary and hi-tech world and far darker and more action-packed storyline and complex characters and events that would surely appeal to the youngsters.
Artemis is young and ruthless intellectual with a primary goal of acquiring money from extremely dangerous and criminal ventures.
