And now we finally bring you the final chapter to the Official Movie Prequel Comics Special of the Transformers. This fourth comics in the series was officially issued las May 2 and is currently selling like hot pancakes. We are happy to feature it today, right in the same week that the Transformers’ Official Trailer was launched, creating more excitement and anticipation for both Transformers fans and moviegoers alike. The 4-part movie tie-in or comics adaptation of the movie will come out starting June 6, and we hope to share with you those as well but for now, let’s just enjoy this final installment to the movie prequel.
Introduction to the Movie Prequel Comics Series
In the four-part TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE PREQUEL, co-writers Chris Ryall, Simon Furman team up with artist Don Figueroa to deliver a special tale that spans centuries, traveling from CYBERTRON to Earth. This special four-part series reveals the events that lead up to the storyline of Transformers: The Movie, which is directed by Michael Bay and Executive-Produced by Steven Spielberg.
In this comics prequel, the movie characters travel from CYBERTRON to Earth and the events leading to the Transformers bringing their war to our world.
