Intexblogger Removes Ebook Downloads

Okay, I think it’s time we lay our cards on the table. Due to several copyright issues being raised by publishing companies against IntexBlogger, one of which was actually the reason why our hosting site suspended our account without allowing us access to our backup files a couple of months ago… we have finally decided to DELETE ALL EBOOKS in our database. This was a very tough decision to make, but we are left with no choice. Of course, the post for each books will stay unchanged, its just the download links will all be dead.

We at IntexBlogger will always stand by our opinion that what we are doing here is within the bounds of law, but these are multi-million dollar publishing companies, so what capacity do we have to go up against them and insist on our honest intention to educate the world by sharing these books? You see they will not stop making threats of lawsuits, etc unless we comply with their demand, and even when we started complying in early May 2008, our blog was taken offline by our hosting site for “violation of terms”. Right.

I am particularly saddened by this difficult decision because I remember the various emails I’ve received from many of you sharing your glee for finding these great book collection without any strings attached. I’ve received an email from one Literature teacher requesting for passwords for several books he downloaded which he always wanted to assign to students and discuss in class but are not available in their country’s local bookstores and libraries; or those from African countries who commented that the books are too expensive in their country that they can only have access to contemporary novels through this site. There was one who wrote on behalf of her child who cannot read except through Adobe Acrobat Reader’s “Read-Out-Loud” feature. There were several high school and college students who had to do book reports (on Life of Pi, Lolita, to name a few) overnight and they couldn’t get a copy from their school libraries, but thankfully they found a free copy here. One was just delighted with our blog as it encouraged him and his friends to go back to the hobby of reading again, as they can now read wherever they maybe as long as they have their PCs, mobile phones and PDAs.

These are just some of the inspiring stories I received from all of you and its the main reason why I’ve always been an advocate of book sharing under the fair use rule. Sadly, the publishers don’t agree with that and since they are the legal owners of these books, we will have to step aside and let them earn millions of dollars more. Meanwhile, for people who have no money to spare they will just have to stay ignorant and oblivious to the magical worlds created in fantasy and fiction books. That’s that.

But don’t fret everyone. Somehow, somewhere, we will get through this bump in the road. Intexblogger has come back to life for a reason and in the name of public service we shall remain. Though it’s kinda crazy, our site is being closely monitored by pesky publishers and their slave-lawyers. Anyway, I’m no lawyer but I know my rights, my right to privacy and right to free speech. I also know that I have the legal right to dispose, lend, donate or bequeath my properties in favor of my “relatives and friends” or any named beneficiary/ies. Let’s leave it at that *wink*.

Keep your eyes open and your inbox clean, folks!=)

Hang in there. It will work out as it suppose to. Personally, if I knew which money hungry companies were being so greedy I’d stop buying books from them all together. The price of books is unreal anymore anyway!

Thanks for trying. I really enjoyed the site and I downloaded everything I could get my hands on before it was gone!

  2. Ervserver Says:

    lawyers are bastards

  3. trunick Says:

No , you can’t do this , you made addicts then you think you can let go ? No way mister … Do you have any novel to send me on my e-mail ?
    It’s : hercolanium@yahoo.com .

  4. tara Says:

i knew this was too good to be true. i loved your site and the fact that you were posting a lot of those ebooks. i thought that was what happened when your site stopped working for a while back. anyway, thanks for sharing, it was great while it lasted though!

  5. Amy Says:

It was great fun to be able to read books that we would not be able to afford. I am so much more enriched by what you had done and I hope you realise the joy you had given and the world that you had opened us for many of us. You also gave us the opportunity to read some books that we really would not have picked up at a bookstore but we read it on your site and thus gave some authors really good exposure. I dont think what you did was any different from going to a library and was not wrong in anyway so I just want to say THANK YOU!

  6. cami Says:

Hi!! i knew this site had run into trouble when it closed down…I live in the philippines and i’m a very avid reader….and when i say avid, i mean i have an eyesight of a bat…i’ve worn glasses/contact lenses since i was a kid…let me just say that books are quite pricey these days….i mean, the equivalent of a novel here is the price of a good shirt! so, since i’m also a clothes addict, i always choose to buy the shirt instead of the book…or i would resort to buying books at half a price stores or whenever they’re in sale…..so, when i learned about intexblogger, just imagine my surprise!!! So now, i get to save money AND read books at the same time….So…i’m just really sad that intexblogger is not going to let people WORLDWIDE be more educated bec. the publishing companies are SOOO greedy…nyway, can you tell me the names of the companies that are going to sue intexblogger???haha…or maybe, you can SEND ME EBOOKS THROUGH EMAIL???(wink!) that would be great! thanks!

  7. laurel Says:

God I am sooo saddened by this development. Please send me ebooks through my email, please!

  8. el Says:

I can’t believe this happened to my fav website!! I went away for a month on a job assignment, and what do i find when i actually get back home to check on all the books i missed? :(
PinkG, i’ll continue to support this site, i hope that things get better for you. Please keep me on your mailing list for any updates… :)

  9. Russel Says:

hello. i am so saddened by this unfortunate incident. i agree, not all countries are equipped with libraries so those people who are saying that you should go to one if you cannot afford to buy the book should try to visit a third world country. some people are just lucky, i guess. i was indeed fortunate to have downloaded books from the site before it was all deleted, unfortunately all the copies were erased when our company pc were reformatted. anyway, i hope the kind owner of the blog will find another way to upload all the files again (perhaps another blog, hehehe, let’s keep on the sly). more power to you and i hope you and your loved ones blessings and happiness.

  10. Russel Says:

yes, can you send e-books through email? and what are the names of those greedy companies who were threatening to sue you, so i can try to boycott their products. i am from the phillipines and books are very expensive here. charmedwishes23@hellokitty.com is my email add.

  11. Lem Says:

Hey PinkG..I know its sad that publishers want us to suffer from the lack of books especially if its really hard to find in certain countries. That is also one of the reason why an old forum for ebooks I belonged to died. There was this one author who got pissed that her books as e-books were being shared. eventually she got trashed in the old board and nobody wants to buy her books anymore. Anyway, we have a new home board now for ebook addicts. I know this great site will get through this.

  12. pinkguitar Says:

thank you all guys for your kind words. anyway just because you asked, the first publisher that gave us an infringement notice was harper collins for the paulo coelho and meg cabot books, there’s also the bantam publishing who both asked for the download links of their books to be taken off, which we did… but the one that did not even bother to give us warning and instead sent a lawsuit threat to our hosting site was A Kempe (didn’t even know such publishing company existed!lol)… it was the harry potter books that they apparently have copyright ownership to, but we know thousands of sites out there also share hp books so… anyway i wasnt bothered by the lawsuit threat because i’m too far away from the countries where these publishing houses are, and they will not waste their time to go to court just to flick a little mosquito like me… but as you all know, this is a free site, and we shoulder all the expenses and hosting is very expensive especially if you hardly have money to spare… we don’t want to have our hosting account suspended again and a good $$$ down the drain again, so we decided not to play hardball. after all the monthly retainer’s fee of their lawyer is probably my income for one year already, so i admit, i have no way of winning against them. that’s the real story.

don’t worry you guys, i’ve noted down your emails. we promise we will “keep in touch”..=)

  13. tots Says:

It’s really too bad that you had to remove the ebooks from the site.:(
While I understand that the publishing companies and authors also have a point, and do have the right to protest, it really is unfortunate for people (like us) who are passionate about books and literature but cannot always afford to purchase the printed copies because of financial or geographic limitations.

I applaud you, and everyone responsible for this website, for your efforts in making these literary gems available to everyone. Isn’t after all the ultimate purpose of the written word to transcend boundaries and touch lives, to educate and communicate, to broaden horizons and enrich human consciousness? I believe wbesites such as these and people like you are instrumental for the realization of these aims. (so thanks:D)

More power to you and to the website:D

  14. pinkguitar Says:

very well said, tots.. i can see u urself have the makings of a great writer and i hope if u do become one you’d be generous enough to share your works to people willing to read them… =)

  15. sai Says:

hey if u have any good books could u mail it to my id sai30686@yahoo.com.
    please

  16. omikron48 Says:

yeah. i have to say i’m bummed about the development but it is an eventuality. the site was a good source though since the formatting was good, excepting all the typos which can be chalked up to ocr limitations. this site encouraged me to read books which i wouldn’t even bother to pick up or scope out on my own. it’ll be sad having a source cut off.

  17. babyche Says:

i still want to have the ebooks, sadly because of that lawyers… is there any other way to have them by emailing it one by one, by request? i hope….

  18. triska Says:

It’s really unfortunate, what has happened in your site…I’ve only known your site for just a few months before this thing happened and I’ve become addicted to your site…I’m a book lover and I think that what you are doing is a big help to educate those who are less fortunate who cannot afford to buy those expensive books…I really hope that things would work out…I really was worried when intexblogger was temporarily out of service…those publishing companies should really be considerate…Besides, those who would rather read from an e-book would not prefer to buy those expensive books anyway, so in a way, they are not losing profits, instead, the books are gaining recognision…Don’t you think? Best of luck…And thanks a lot

  19. Jay Says:

    IntexBlogger FTW!
This site made me get glasses…. I <3 you :)

  20. ioanabu Says:

I found this site when I was searching for a site with reviews. Although I was trilled to see I can actually read those books, anyway since I found this site I bought 9 books considering I am from a third world country and I work in accounting and five of those books cost me my entire month income(amazon taxed me 40 $ for transport, and my custom 15$), but still I paid cause I loved those books and I wanted to own them, but I cant afford to buy books on regular basis and then to have the misfortune of them being boring. But still in my view they should reward you, cause I don’t think that I’m the only one who bought books after reading them on your site, even if not exactly those but maybe sequels or related.
Very sorry for all your trouble keep those reviews and I’ll keep on visiting, and if u need any help feel free to ask.
I wont be buying any more books from those publishers for sure.

  21. Faizel Says:

No way you guys cant do this to us this site was the only site where i could find novels that interested me and now your gone dont worry you’ll get though this and soon you’ll be back to provding us with quality literature hang in there :)

  22. Nariel Says:

    Oh no… :-(

I, too, am from the Philippines, and I tell you, books here cost a fortune (okay, an exaggeration, but something close to it). Thank you for the e-books before. It was through your site that I got to read books that I can’t buy before, and that also speaks for a number of people out there. Too bad it didn’t last.. :-( but, just so you know, i AM keeping my inbox spic-and-span. he he. Take loads of care, guys!

  23. mike Says:

ei pinkG, just wanted to thank you for the ebooks that ive downloaded so far, it’s really sad to know as to what extent these people would do to get more money.. anyways, all the best to your site - will keep my inbox as empty as i could..hehe. thanks..

  24. Sci*Flo Says:

aww that sucks. they can’t do that!! dumb thieves!
This is an awesome website! all the best to u all.you guys will get through this. i’m with you all. stay strong

  25. nel05 Says:

when i first came across your site, i was so amazed with the up-to-date and entertaining ebooks i found there. i downloaded everything i could and always checked the site daily for new ebooks to read. this site has truly been a diamond in the rough and has made reading more accessible, affordable and even more fun to do. will keep my inbox clean for any updates on your site :) thanks for everything you’ve done for us readers. take care and more power to you! :)

  27. Carol Says:

This news is so depressing :( I’m from the Philippines too and books are way too expensive here. I actually began to love reading again when I discovered this site~

    <3

    BTW my e-mail is: lokarette_ako@yahoo.com

  28. slick chick Says:

this is such pity…intexblogger is the best site i’ve been to and to have it shut down like this is wrong. I need to thank you all for having done what you’ve done and I hope all will go well soon!

BTW, my inbox is nice and clean just for you. ;p

  29. HJ Says:

this news is too depressing.. =( i love intexblogger.. it’s like the website i go on religiouly to find new books.. it’s not like we’re gonna sell them or anything but yeah send me an email whenever you can

    thanks very much!

  30. Lila Says:

Hey there, I discovered this site right before it went offline, unfortunately. Managed to get a couple books, though. This is a fabulous way to find new books. Or was, I guess. :( Anyhow, thanks! Y’all rock.

  31. Kagami Says:

Aw man! This is so depressing. I love your site to bits. Thank you so much, it was so much fun(and educational) while it lasted! And here my emaid address (*wink*): bungal@ymail.com

  32. endah Says:

hi…so sorry to hear that. I hope and pray you won’t get trouble.
I love your site, it’s so adorable. But may be it’s time to calm down right now, we all understand about that. Please dont worry. I believe we all will pray you best.
Eventhough there’s no ebook to download, I’ll keep come by (and I give you my email to, just in case you have good news to share). Take good care …. ;P

  33. Yaco Says:

It’s really saddening that the e-books had to be removed, since many of the books here were hard to find otherwise and the titles that can be found here were good. Hopefully we will managed to find some other way to see the books again!

  34. kewi tick Says:

could you put on intexblogger like the first 3 chapters or something of some popular books, so that they would make us “hungry” for more and then buy the book?:D:D:D

that would be okay for everyone, wouldn’t it?

  35. yeghig Says:

hi PinkG it’s really sad too see intexblogger this way i’v been coming here for almost a year and i’v downloaded more then 150 books i love reading hope u get things like they used to be :D here’s my email if u get great news yeghigp@hotmail.com bye :D:D

  36. SPIDA-MAN Says:

WITH ALL THE POSTS AND THINGS AND ALL THE CONTRIBUTIONS I TRIED TO MAKE, THAT MAKES ME A FRIEND AND THAT QUALIFIES ME TO GET SOME OF THE THINGS THAT YOU WANT TO DISPOSE OF OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT RIGHT?

  37. Anooth Says:

Hey pinkg, I really loved your site, so it’s so sad for you to stop putting up the ebooks but does that mean your going to stop the site as well? And for all the others who love reading use http://www.ebookee.com/. It’s a site with ebooks, but in torrents so you will need a torrent application like bit-torrent for it to work. Once you got that open the file with bit-torrent and let it download - then you should be able to enjoy.

  38. pinkguitar Says:

thanks to all of you we’re very much humbled by your kind words…

^Spida-man, please refrain from writing in ALL CAPS, it looks like you’re screaming at us. you will all be remembered, we will make that a priority.

^^kewi tick, we can definitely do that, but i’m not sure 3 chapters will be allowed.. the most would be 1 chapter just like in amazon… but we’ll work something out that’s far easier for everyone… let’s see..

  39. anguigena Says:

Wow, I leave for a month and come back only to find it went off? This is depressing… especially when you live in a country where the books you find are so limited, and even if they’re there it’s mostly interpreted, which is crap since I believe a book is best when left in it’s original language. That, or they cost a month’s salary for most people. You were doing a great job, I hope you drop us a line if you’ve any more interesting things to share *hint hint nudge nudge*…

  40. jeni_love Says:

What i feared of has happened! It’s so sad…They should be happy we want ebooks, we help conserve trees! It’s just so expensive for someone from a third world country to buy all these books. I hope they can at least allow classics to be shared, those very hard to find stuff even if you’ve got the money to buy em. I wasn’t an avid reader before but this site made me an addict! I love the fact that i can bring a few books with me specially when i’m working out of town. Well no matter what happens, we are here to support intexblogger. Be proud that you made some people read literature and less junk.

  41. pinkguitar Says:

jeni, good point about the trees, but again, they don’t care about trees either…

btw, there is a site called project gutenberg, its an open share site for classical novels/books which have been authorized to be shared for free. just remember they only have really old books (by dead authors),usually from the previous centuries and hardly from contemporary writers. i think the newest books they have are those from the catcher and the rye, lord of the flies generation… anyway try to check it out…

  42. yeghig Says:

hi PinkG in need ur help i’m trying to find this books series called EverWorld by k.a applegate but i can’t seem to find it do u know if there is the ebook for this so i can download it my email is yeghigp@hotmail.com

  43. SPIDA-MAN Says:

sorry pinkg. kind of a habit. will stop but. long live intexblogger!

  44. SPIDA-MAN Says:

    http://www.spida-man.blogspot.com

  45. Anrean Says:

I loved this website. I am sad you had to take your books off. It was nice to look around here for some books I might be interested in buying. You have inspired me to read more. I was going through three books a week. And the ones I really liked I would run to the book store and purchase. Thanks for the great reads! Keep in touch!

  46. Manoj kumar Says:

i’m really saddened about this development.when this site was reformed after that disaster ,i had told all of friends to visit this blog,it had really developed my habit of reading.since this is not under your control,i will forget about downloading e books .can you please do me a favor by sending as many e books as you can through email ,it would really help in developing my knowledge, please….i would also request you to keep in touch with me ,longlive intexblogger. if you can send books through mails i will really be happy ..please do it if you can.

thanks a lot for all your generosity.

  47. Ang Says:

Sorry that you have had to do this - I really enjoyed the site and read books that I would never have been able to afford to buy, also read titles I wouldn’t normally have picked up. For example, I was hoping to read Rushdie’s Midnights Children as its just won best of the bookers and that title was available - oh well, thank you for all your efforts.

  48. PTO Says:

This totally blows. The publishers just don’t get it & don’t care about their customers at all. & regarding Harper Collins, Paulo Coelho just recently publicized that he was facilitating the free sharing of his own books, along with a couple other authors, so it seems like a lame thing to pick a fight over. So it seems that not only are the rich the only ones who can get quality health care but now only they can afford knowledge, imagination, & other mental skills that reading develops. The cost of books is so high now & for people like me who are blind as bats, ebooks & their zooming ability are a lifesaver. Most books that are published do not come out as large print editions & those that do cost more than the regular hardcover. Blind people aren’t rich, generally, yet we always have to pay a higher price for equal consideration (seating at plays & sporting events, beter lightng in our homes, special adaptive equipment, etc.). So when a site like this goes down, we along with folks living in counrties other than US/Canada, lose a portion of our freedom & independence. As far as I’m concerned this is akin to publishers banning their own books by limiting access to them. You’d think they’d eat up the free publicity….Idiots.

  49. Ram Says:

Hi! I really love your site because I love books! I was so sad when your site was temporarily unavailable! I check it everyday so I was so happy when you finally came back! I do hope that i can still receive some of your books, if you can please email me karmayasmin@yahoo.com i will really appreciate it! More power to you!

  50. Vijay Says:

    Hi Pinkguitar,

Looks like I found your site a bit late. I was looking for Salman Rushdie’s ebooks for a long time and by the time I found it the books have been removed :). Is it possible for you to send me Salman Rushdie’s “Midnight Children” and “Satanic Verses”. Would really appreciate your help.

    BTW…I really like your blog.

    Thanks

    Vijay

  51. imlily Says:

I feel rather disappointed to hear that. It’s such a great site that I enjoyed so many great books here, but now…
Anyway, let’s just keep sharing via any possible ways.
    cheers.

  52. Jhinka Says:

    Thanks anyway, Pinkguitar….

it was early ‘08 when I first came across this site… and was simply amazed to see the e-versions of many books which I’ve always wanted to read but couldn’t either find or afford them..

I’d downloaded only one book, ‘The Atonement’ from here and had a little problem with the p/w which again was solved by your prompt reply! Since then this site’s name have been etched in my memory.. but whatever happened in the recent months, is most unfortunate.

I’m sure this issue will be resolved by your sincerity and the enthusiasm of us,the book lovers.

    Best of luck!

  53. hedonistics anonymous Says:

    Hi Pinkguitar,

I have downloaded several books last year, and have always tried to do the right thing (buy the hard copy of the book if I like the soft copy) and you have no idea how THRILLED I was when I saw that you had Neil Gaiman’s works for downloaded. Of course the thrill was shortlived when I discovered the links were no longer working.

Still I keep coming here, hoping that one day the links will be back up again.

Speaking of which, I have all Neil Gaiman’s books save for one, M is for Magic. Mind bequeathing it to me? I would also like to thank you for setting up Intexblogger. You made a lot of book lovers happy along the way. :)

  54. hedonistics anonymous Says:

Btw, I have a suggestion on bequeathing books to each other. Whoever needs books, please state the title and their email, and the rest will try to bequeath if possible.

I think it’s a cool idea, kind of like a “pay if forward” thing.

  55. Sk Says:

    Pink Guitar,

Thank you for the wonderful opportunity. I am both saddened and angry at the fact that big corporations can really win over the little people. I only wish you the best in your next endeavour. Please keep my e-mail address in your next mail - everest_water @ hotmail . com

I hope to hear from you soon :D

  56. fdaizel Says:

why not change the format??it is illegal to host books on your server but its perfectly legal to let users post links to books hosted on site rapidshare and such that could work couldnt it?

  57. jorge Says:

R.I.P. for now… good karma never dies!

  58. Intexblogger Says:

Thank you guys for all the support. We are making new plans on how we can share the e-books on this site. Hope you drop by and watch for it. Thanks.

  59. Siva Kumar Says:

    Hi Pinkg,
Looks like I found you a bit late too. And all these comments, I really admire the way you guys have bonded. I thought of helping you guys with something. Try the site “www.esnips.com”. Top right corner, you’ll find a search box and you can type in your search and get those books. It does not list books the way you do, but it does get most of the books you want. So I suppose that’s something you can use. There was another great site I used to use - “www.ebookee.com” - but it has several problems (related to hosting) - they have over 17000 books and all listed, but not organised. Will keep u people updated on anything more.

Let the spirit of Reading continue and flourish and let your sevice flourish with it TOO.

  60. Anu Says:

Hey friends, I am a regular visitor of this site. I just love itexblogger. I had downloaded the novels by Nicholas Sparks, but lost everything in my system crash. In the meantime this site was going through the turmoil. I really loved the novels but don’t have enough resource to buy them. So, if anyone has the books of Nicholas Sparks plz send them to my mail. My id : anudas2006@gmail.com.

  61. ella Says:

hi. i am an avid reader. fortunately, have downloaded most of your efds since i check the site almost everyday. i am saddened by the way these publishing houses are treating you. i am a writer myself, and frankly, i dont care if my novels are given freely. i mean, my more people would be able to access my works, right? ahh that’s basically a dream come true for most writers. we write to express anyway. money is just a nice bonus. :P i do understand why publishers feel threatened by free ebooks. writers are paid by manuscript, but publishers need to actually sell books to earn. however i dont think publishers would be losing much from your site. as you have said, u are but a teeny mosquito. what you are doing is almost the same as those secondhand bookstores, only you do this for free. but in second hand bookstores, publishers dont get a cut in sales as well. get what i mean?

also, most people still prefer oldschool books anyway. i know i do. i still buy from powerbooks and national bookstore. it’s just a comfort knowing i have soft copies in my laptop.

oh well. hang on there. i hope you find a way around these legal issues. please email me for updates regarding this. i might be able to help you regarding said legal issues. :)

  62. sunshine Says:

i wish i had downloaded all the ebooks then if i had seen this coming. anyway, thanks for the ebooks you shared.

  63. Heather Says:

i just wanted to thank you! i wouldve never gotten a chance to read some of the books if it hadnt been for this site and a friend. heres my email as well heansa1224@hotmail.com

  64. Amrita Says:

i cant tell you how greatful i am to you. i first found your website when i really wanted to the read the twilight series, and none of the libraries had any copy that i could borrow. i was too broke at that time to buy a copy from my local bookstore….but i wanted to read the books so badly that it was like a constant stomach ache. but your site introduced me to the twilight world, and now i am a diehard fan who is totally obsessed with the series.
THANKS A MILLION! hopefully we’ll all get through this together =D

  65. acid Says:

you know i had a feeling that something like this would happen too bad i didnt have time to download as many books as possible but fdaizel is on to something you make this like one of tjose blogs that post rapidshare and megaupload links as far as they are concerned your just another blog and yu wont have any illegal content on your server by the way is it possible to get a coy of go ask alice by beatrice sparks or annie on my mind by nancy garden ive half killed my self looking for them if you have them can you email them to listen_hard21@hotmail.com plzzzzzzzzzz

  66. jdawn Says:

i have had copyright issues too and i understand your intentions. I was doing it for the fan of the book and those who can’t afford to buy one, but then again, reasons such as these are not solid ground for copyright infringement.

  67. Kerry Says:

Must be a reason I was informed about your site. You wrote this post on my birthday, and I am a firm believer in strange coincidences. I have just begun to look through because I am on a restricted monthly budget aka SS at a younger age because of a disability. I can’t afford the e-books that I want, yet I keep getting the emails for them. Keep going intex, I know you will find a way, and I will let as many know about you also. The power of the written word is strong, as is the power of the held-back dollar, is it not? We should all bind together and let others know not only about Intex, but about the almighty publishing houses and what they are doing. Write a short note to your friends and have them forward it. Squeeky wheel gets the grease.

ohhh… it’s really sad.. u see.. my friends were going like crazy because i have this types of books and i can also put it on my phone.. and now.. ahhh.. tsk. god bless to those publishers and may they earn more millions.. agh.

please add me to your mailing list :) i have found so many wonderful authors through your site (and your site has gained those publishing houses some customers, too, i’m sure, because i have bought books i wouldn’t have if i hadn’t become interested in them through intexblogger!).

  72. saugat Says:

I suspected that something like this happened when I discovered that your site was no longer functional. Unfortunately, my suspicions were correct. Your site provided a valuable resource to all readers who were unable to buy these books. I, personally, was introduced to so many brilliant books and authors through your site. I will cherish my own personal collection that I have built from books downloaded from your site.

  73. phurple0515 Says:

Can you put me in your email list also ;)

  74. j Says:

it’s sad that this kind of thing happened. not everyone can have access to actual books. you are right that those free e-books help us be more informed - in the most convenient way. if there is ever a change in the direction of this fierce wind, just pls let us know. i would appreciate it if you’ll include me in your mailing list. thank you!

I would like to first thank you for everything and for giving us endless joy in the form of these books.
Secondly , I totally agree with you , for instance I have been trying to find Naomi Novick’s Book 5 for almost a month now and even then it is not avl. in even the standard bookstores in India.
Since I first got interested in ebooks through your site , I would please request you to add me (gizzmo18@gmail.com) to your mailing list.
    Thanks-a-lot.

  85. Conor Says:

Hey there. Unfortunately, I only found out about your site in its final days, so I didn’t get the chance to really explore it. It was bookmarked though, and I was ready to enjoy it. Like everyone else, I just want to thank you for your efforts to get good books out there to people. It’s a laudable goal. I wish you the best.

  86. Eriks Says:

Your website is fantastic, my children and I have enjoyed many hours of stories courtesy of your website, so please add me to your mailing list for any possible links, etc. ;)

I have recently moved country and had to leave all my hard copies of books back home - we are not permanent in the country where we are, so books are all enjoyed in their softer, e-versions, which we all enjoy tremendously. All those publishing companies won’t get a dime out of me anyway so they may as well allow you to carry on!!

  87. Arjunct Says:

  91. greenkateyez Says:

I was crushed to find out that we will no longer be able to enjoy the wonderful Ebooks!! I just got out of the hospital and was unable to have ANYTHING due to I had to be in a completely sterile environment. I was psyched to be able to come home and get the Twighlight series as I had heard so much about it from the hospital staff. Unfortunately what little money I get monthly must go to the dreaded healthcare companies and for medication, so this was the only way for me to enjoy reading. should anything change or if there is a way I could get the series in Ebook form please PLEASE email me at knappk@live.com. Thank you.

  92. Hala Ottoman Says:

    Oh no way!

I’m still not exactly “getting it” *scratches forehead sheepishly*. So this is done now? No please, I just discovered your amazing site!!!! This was back in July, any progress?

Please add me, I’d love to keep in contact with readers like yourself. I’m sure you’ve done a lot of people some great help and it’s much appreciated!

    Thank you!

  93. Leprechaun Says:

Thanks sooo much for everything you’ve been trying to do. I just found this site today and I can already see all the people you’ve helped, and would still be helping if you could.

  94. Agata Says:

I love your site…I am from Indonesia and books here are just expensive especially the ones written in English. I love your site and from reading your post today I know that you’ve helped a lot of people! SO thanks a lot…
