One of the most enjoyable casino games that I like watching is the black jack. I am quite familiar with how the game is played because I???ve seen it too many times being featured in just about any casino-related TV shows or movies. It???s probably one of the most popular card games around and a lot of people do find it extra challenging going up against the card dealer mano-a-mano, literally. Though I am not really that well-versed with the game, I can understand why people enjoy playing it, I just hope that I actually can learn the game one of these days.

Anyway, just a few days back I actually had time for myself and I was just surfing the net for hours when I finally came upon www.casino.de, a German casino, a sister-site (almost a direct translation) of online-casinos.com. These two great sites offer really helpful black jack training where you can play the game virtually against the card dealer. You simply point and click your mouse to specific parts of the card table to play the game and you will be guided through with pop-up tips and hints, until game ends. For German players who are new to black-jack and online casino, casino.de would definitely be a good starting point because you don???t have to gamble your money needlessly, without even getting the real feel of how the game is played online, thereby increasing your risk of saying goodbye to your hard-earned money.

Apart from black jack training, the site also provides a video instructions on playing the roulette. The video tutorial is very much simple and straightforward so again, Germans who are fiddling with the game of roulette can pick up a few step-by-step helpful instructions on the game.

Overall, I would recommend casino.de to any online casino newbie, most particularly to my German friends who have been looking for casino tutorial sites which is in the German language, but to no avail. And yeah, I would also recommend the site to anyone out there who’s learning to speak German, and is at the same time interested with learning various casino games.

Among the difficult aspects about being an adult is managing your finances. I for one, find it extremely frustrating trying to reconcile my accounts or keep track of my finances, making sure I am still living within my means, much less monitor the finances of my business. Indeed, professional financial advisers would come handy during these times.

Now if you’ve been a proprietor for quite some time like me, you’d know that getting financial advisors is not very cheap. In fact, you need to set aside considerable budget if you are to serious in hiring a professional financial valuation experts who will give you the proper assistance you need to keep your company financially stable. And it is during this difficult economic downturn that a financial adviser’s opinion would become indispensable. I just really wish I could find one that I can afford.

It is therefore a refreshing experience to find a valuation advisory firm that boasts of good reputation, but at the same time, offers a fairly reasonable and affordable service. Small companies like mine now stands a chance to receiving valuable financial opinion without costing us an arm and a leg. I am talking about MurrayDevine.com, a low-profile, yet highly reputable valuation consultancy firm that could compete with larger firms in terms of the quality of their service, and customer satisfaction. What I particularly liked about MurraryDevine is that they are customer-focused, meaning, unlike the bigwigs, MurraryDevine devotes their time and resources, getting to know their clients and their business, to be able to make a precise approximation on where such client corporation is at, and where it is heading, finances-wise.

It is no surprise that despite being low-keyed, MurrayDevine has so far managed an aggregate portfolio of about $10 billion for its customers. If statistics don’t lie, then MurrayDevine’s statistics, are not bad, at all. If you feel that your business is in dire need of a financial solvency opinion, then you might want to look MurrayDevine up. Deciding your company’s future should always start from knowing where your financial position is.

The past few weeks I’ve been going over some old pile of video cassettes at home, trying to sort out those which I’d still want to keep, from those which I don’t really know why I still have after all these years. Of course, I’d like to keep some videos taken during special occasions and family gathering, but some of them were taken 15 to 20 years ago, so when I tried playing them, the quality has markedly deteriorated, if running at all. I felt bad because all the while I thought I have done my best to preserve the videos, keeping them locked up in a cabinet in our stock room, with the end view of being able to share our family affairs to our next generation.

A friend suggested that if I really want to keep them in my video archive, I might want to consider looking for 8mm Film to DVD services. I was not aware that there is actually such service available, so I hurriedly looked it up over the internet and tried to learn more about it. Of all the search results I got from Google, what got me very interested was when I chanced upon a site called videoconversionexperts.com. As their name suggest, they claim that they are the leading 8mm Film Transfer outfit in the industry. They likewise had the bravado to put bold and all caps letters, “100% Satisfaction GUARANTEED”. That certainly caught my attention– I was skeptic, but interested. So I browsed through their movie film gallery just to see if they indeed deliver what they promised. Surprisingly, they have quite an impressive work samples, and the quality of the videos really speaks volumes of what their service could do. Previously, I felt that I would need some sort of miracle to be able to salvage our family videos but now I realized, with all the Film Transfer technology and the experts at videoconversionexperts, we have a fairly good chance of restoring our home videos to their original (if not better) quality. What’s best about film transfer, is that storage would be much easier, because they will not replace the bulky film casettes or film rolls, with the lightweight, super-thin and durable DVDs.

So for you guys out there who are like me, keeping a large library of video films, you might want to try film transfers as an alternative. Visit videoconversionexperts and in no time, you will keep those good o’l times and memories preserved, for your grandchildren’s grandchildren to view and enjoy.

Being a certified book lover, I have now run out of space where to put all my paperbacks and hardbounds that I have accumulated the past 20 years or my life. It’s a little frustrating getting hard boxes for old books that I want to be stored in the attic because I often times lend old books to friends and most of the time I forget the specific box where I kept a specific book. So now, I thought it’s probably time for me invest in Wood Bookcases DC is the nearest one where I could window shop, so I might probably try to scour the city next weekend.

Some furniture stores located in the city may probably showcase great looking book cases, but I’ve always been meticulous when it comes to quality and durability. After all, my first edition books are worth the investment and I don’t care if I’ll spend a few more hundred dollars so long as I am assured that the book shelves will last a lifetime and could provide protection to my books which have become really frail due to their age and frequent use. So right now I’ve been actively searching for book cases on the net, and I’m more inclined to visit Wood Book Cases Baltimore area, specifically the ones I saw at www.artnurie.com because based on the pictures, I think they are really spacious, sturdy and most of all, very reasonably priced. I think if I save a couple of bucks in the next few weeks, I’ll be able to purchase a really great floor-to-ceiling book cases that will be the home to my most precious book collections.

Artnurie’s Brazilian Cherry/Mahogany is the apple of my eye, so to speak, and it’s really gorgeous. I think it will perfectly fit and match my study room’s ambiance and redwood finish. Okay, wait, I have to stop gushing over these book cases, and start saving up so that hopefully, in two-weeks time, I’ll be ready to make that big purchase. So Wood Book Case Baltimore, I’ll see you in mid-August! But for now, I have to go back and clean up my disk drive and do the long-delayed sorting and archiving of my e-books.

For you guys who have been frequent visitors to intexblogger, you have probably seen this book uploaded here around April or May. Now since we lost our database for the period January to May, we are now re-featuring the books we lost, one at a time.

So now, let me re-introduce the “other” book by Stephenie Meyer, called The Host. We are all aware that the movie version of the highly popular and well-loved “Twilight Series” by Meyer is one of the most-awaited flicks this year, so this is to pay homage to the great Stephenie Meyer, who many think is the heir-apparent to J.K. Rowling. Again, I hope you enjoy The Host by Stephenie Meyer, said to be her first “adult novel”.

E-book: The Host
Author: Stephenie Meyer
Publisher: Little, Brown & Company
Pub. Date: May 2008
ISBN-13: 9780316068048

Synopsis:
Melanie Stryder refuses to fade away. The earth has been invaded by a species that take over the minds of their human hosts while leaving their bodies intact, and most of humanity has succumbed.

Wanderer, the invading “soul” who has been given Melanie’s body, knew about the challenges of living inside a human: the overwhelming emotions, the too vivid memories. But there was one difficulty Wanderer didn’t expect: the former tenant of her body refusing to relinquish possession of her mind.

Melanie fills Wanderer’s thoughts with visions of the man Melanie loves-Jared, a human who still lives in hiding. Unable to separate herself from her body’s desires, Wanderer yearns for a man she’s never met. As outside forces make Wanderer and Melanie unwilling allies, they set off to search for the man they both love.

Featuring what may be the first love triangle involving only two bodies, THE HOST is a riveting and unforgettable novel that will bring a vast new readership to one of the most compelling writers of our time.
